<p class="has-medium-font-size">EcceAsia計畫是由歐盟設立資助，並由Unaprol (義大利橄欖生產商協會)以及CAP (葡萄牙農業同盟)，二國行業協會共同發起主辦。這是一項為期三年的國際推廣計劃，旨在臺灣推廣提升對歐洲特級初榨橄欖油的認識、知識與使用等目標。</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Unaprol (義大利橄欖生產商協會) : 代表了超過 60%的義大利橄欖行業，是義大利和歐洲最大的橄欖行業協會。CAP (葡萄牙農業同盟) : 代表了來自葡萄牙全國各地的242個組織，是葡萄牙最大的農業協會。</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">近年來，臺灣越來越重視健康的飲食方式。比起經常使用的油品（如大豆油、葵花籽油…等），也開始消費及關注特級初榨橄欖油及其有益的影響。地中海飲食（Mediterranean Diet）經常使用的橄欖油，受到各界推崇，其中又以特級初榨橄欖油（Extra Virgin Olive Oil）的健康價值更勝一籌。地中海歐洲的特殊環境條件是橄欖品種遺傳財富的基礎，導致橄欖樹在整個領土上紮根。</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">歐洲特級初榨橄欖油在廚房中的多功能性和搭配不僅限於地中海飲食或傳統美食，也是當今最先進和創新的烹飪和食品趨勢的一部分。歐洲特級初榨橄欖油是一種用途廣泛的原料，它很容易適應與歐洲相距甚遠的烹飪傳統，例如日本或台灣料理烹飪。這些國家的民眾也非常關注自己身體的身心健康，因此非常適應歐洲特級初榨橄欖油。</p>
<p class="has-medium-font-size">為了成功的推廣EcceAsia 計畫，歐盟規劃了一系列推廣活動，今年透過與弘光科技大學 餐旅管理系合作所舉辦的廚藝競賽活動，藉由廚藝競賽向下扎根，使未來廚藝界菁英透過餐與廚藝競賽，更進一步認識與應用歐洲特級初榨橄欖油的商品。</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">弘光科技大學餐旅管理系系主任吳松濂指出，經過初賽來自水里商工、青年高中、致用高中、葳格高中、達德商工、僑泰高中、嶺東中學、慈明高中的13組學生晉級決賽。</p>
<p class="has-medium-font-size">比賽規則為選手必須在90分鐘之內，烹調主菜與開胃菜各一道，每道料理需烹調2人份，需使用指定的歐洲特級初榨橄欖油入菜，菜餚主題不限型式，可以中式、西式或日式等方式呈現，擺盤內所陳設內容，不得出現不可食用的裝飾物品。</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">比賽過程中，評審走動觀看選手材料準備情形及烹調衛生，選手們各個戰戰兢兢應賽，經過90分鐘奮戰，小心翼翼將作品端入品評室供評審評分。比賽結束後立即舉行頒獎典禮，獲得90分以上的金牌學生名單為：水里商工林慧萍、蕭舒丞，青年高中蔡家安、林偲旂，達德商工楊耀德、陳冠佑，僑泰高中鄭少崴、詹志堅，嶺東中學許子軒、徐宇彣，慈明高中黃彥翔、孫宛蔚。</p>
